Frequently asked questions
Who is eligible for your in-home care services?
Children and young adults under 21 who have Georgia Medicaid (including through Katie Beckett) and need medical or personal care support at home.
Do families have to pay for these services?
No. If your child has Medicaid and is approved for GAPP, there are no out-of-pocket costs to parents or guardians.
What types of care do you provide?
Skilled nursing and personal care for children with medical, developmental or physical challenges, including tracheostomy care, G-tube care, feeding assistance, medication administration, mobility support and respite for family caregivers. See pediatric home nursing and pediatric personal care.
How do I know if my child qualifies?
If your child is under 21, has Medicaid and needs help with daily living (feeding, bathing, mobility and so on), contact us and we’ll help determine eligibility. Or check if my child qualifies online.

In your home, so your child receives care in a familiar, supportive environment. See where we serve.
How do I start services, and how long does GAPP approval take?
Call us to schedule an intake assessment. We review your needs, help with the paperwork and guide you through GAPP approval. Approval from GAPP usually takes around 45 days or less.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept Georgia Medicaid and work with other insurance providers when applicable. We can help you understand your coverage.
Who provides the care for my child?
Licensed nurses and trained caregivers who specialize in pediatric and developmental care, each carefully screened. Parents can also be hired and paid through our Family Caregiver program.
Can you help with hospital-to-home transitions?
Yes. We coordinate with the hospital and your family for a smooth, safe transition home. See hospital-to-home transition.
Do you serve children with complex medical conditions?
